Fine Arts Flourish at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County

Monday February 04, 2008 - Young artists, ages 6 to 18, from the Clubs gathered to view each other’s work and receive awards for drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, mixed media and sculpture. The Boys & Girls Clubs National Fine Arts Exhibit begins at the local level, with members creating works of art for display in local exhibits. Selected artwork is then sent to a regional exhibit which is then considered for inclusion in the National Fine Arts Exhibit, showcased at Boys & Girls Clubs of America's National Conference. The National Fine Arts Exhibit Program provides members with artistic education, promotes the importance of creativity in every aspect of life and encourages skills and cultural enrichment.
