Winner of 2008 Youth of Year Announced at Annual Dinner

Monday February 04, 2008 - Ed Hollis is a senior at East Hall High and is active in his Club, his school and his community. Ed is a 12 year member of the Boys & Girls Clubs and he has participated in many programs and activities, including basketball, football, Keystone Club of which he was the past president, tutoring, mentoring and Junior Staff Career Development. He enjoys staying active in sports at his high school where he is the manager of the varsity basketball team and played football throughout school. Ed is also involved in his Church.

Each of the finalists was recognized for outstanding contributions to family, school, community and Boys & Girls Club, as well as personal challenges and obstacles they may have overcome. These teenagers are prime examples of why the Boys & Girls Clubs exists - to develop young people into productive, caring and responsible citizens.
