Partnerships Make A Difference
Wednesday April 30, 2008 - In the true spirit of cooperation, the Board of Directors of two of Gainesville's most recognized recreation service providers have formalized their ongoing partnership. In a recent ceremony Gainesville Parks and Recreation Board Chair Joe Biddy and Jerome Yarbrough, Board President of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County entered into a working relationship designed to strengthen existing resources and streamline the delivery of youth services to the community.
"The idea behind this agreement is to benefit the community by focusing resources which are already spread thin and not duplicate services," commented Joe Biddy, Gainesville Parks and Recreation Board Chairman.
"Open communication between the two organizations will be a priority as we continue to serve the children of this community," said Jerome Yarbrough, Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County Board President. "This is truly a win-win for both organizations as well as the youth of our community."
