Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County Add New Members to Board of Directors

Friday May 01, 2009 - The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County (BGCHC) have named Tre Anderson, Sales Representative for Turbo Logistics; John Byrd, Chief Financial Officer for Mansfield Oil Company; Jimbo Floyd, Producer for Turner Wood & Smith; Chip Frierson, Senior Vice President for United Community Bank; Dr. Clifton Hastings, Northeast Georgia Surgical Associates; John Hemel, Store Manager for Publix; Mary Meadows, Volunteer; Duane Schlereth, CPA and Partner with Bates, Carter & Company; Rev. Jimmy Whelchel, Graduation Coach at Gainesville Middle School to its Board of Directors. The Board of Directors has the responsibility of overseeing and guiding the organization towards fulfilling its mission. BGCHC has a rich history in Hall County, having served the community for 55 years and counting. “We are delighted by these new additions to the Board of Directors,” stated Larry Baldwin, President of Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County. “Each member brings a tremendous amount of intellectual capital as well connections to the community. These associations will strengthen our support base and increase our ability to make a difference in the community.”
