11TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY GOLF CLASSIC RAISES FUNDS

Tuesday September 22, 2009 - The tournament began with breakfast followed by a shot gun start at 11am. The format was a 4-man schamble (modified scramble). Players received gifts and prizes were awarded for lowest gross, longest drive and closest to the pin. Players also enjoyed the opportunity to win some great raffle prizes and five lucky golfers had a chance to play for a $1,000,000 shot at the end of the tournament. “We would like to thank Holiday and Sunrise Cove Marinas for once again conducting this tournament to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs,” said Alan Hope, BGCHC board member. “This tournament has raised over $65,000 for programs and services at our Clubs over the years.”
