The Be Great Gala celebrates those who have helped us fulfill our mission through the annual Futures for Kids Campaign, giving youth the opportunities they need to graduate high school with a plan for the future to become responsible, caring, productive citizens.

Keynote speaker Allison Massari is listed as one of the Top 10 Best Speakers for “motivation” and “personal development” in the United States by Meetings & Conventions Magazine for three years in a row. Allison has been featured on media outlets across the country.
Helping Hands Award
Long-time Board Member and Club supporter John Gram will be receiving the prestigious Phillip Sartain Helping Hands Award. This award is given annually to an individual that has – through service, dedication and commitment – improved children’s lives at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lanier. John has served on BGCL’s Board of Directors for over 34 years, seeing the organization through several phases, such as the merger with Girls Inc. and subsequent name change, a capital campaign, and the expansion from one site to 15 sites.
Building Great Futures Partnership Award
Hargrove Engineers + Constructors
Hargrove Engineers + Constructors will be receiving the Building Great Futures Partnership Award. Each year, this award is given to a partner that has demonstrated a commitment to young people in our community through leadership and service. Hargrove Engineers + Constructors has gone above and beyond in efforts to be involved and raise funds through the annual Rubber Duck Derby in addition to supporting BGCL through the annual Futures for Kids campaign.
