Futures For Kids Campaign

The Boys & Girls of Lanier's Futures for Kids Campaign
is a local initiative to integrate the national Great Futures Campaign in to our community. The campaign is an unprecedented effort to:

- Mobilize our country to reverse the negative trends facing America's youth and raise awareness about the impact of Clubs and the critical role of Out-of-School Time.

- Inspire and empower the next generation of America's youth to be successful, healthy and engaged citizens.

- Serve more members, more often at Clubs to increase our impact on kids' lives

Did You Know?

- 15 million (1 out of 3) kids nationwide leave school with no place to go

- The U.S. ranks 22nd in high school completion rate among 28 countries and 17th in college completion among 29 countries

- One in five children younger than 18 lived in poverty in 2012

- About 33 percent of young people ages 6 to 19 were considered overweight or obese in 2009-2010

You Can Help Change That!

- In 2013, 100% of high school seniors who regularly attended the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County Teen Center graduated from high school

- 100% of our Club teens plan to attend college

- $209,100 average lifetime economic benefit to the United States per high school graduate compared to non-graduates

- All Club members get at least 60 minutes of physical activity each day
