2026 Rubber Duck Derby

28th-annual-duck-derbyEvery year, the community rallies in support of Boys & Girls Clubs of Lanier by fundraising through adopting rubber ducks for our amazing race down Lake Lanier. Each duck helps to provide children in Hall, Habersham, and Forsyth counties with a safe, positive and educational environment with programs that prepare them to succeed in school and in life.

Make a life-changing impact on the lives of thousands of kids by adopting your ducks for your chance to win great prizes, including the $10,000 grand prize. Then join us at Lake Lanier Olympic Park on Saturday, May 2, 2026, to watch 20,000 ducks race to the finish in the 28th Annual Rubber Duck Derby.

Enjoy free, family-friendly fun with food trucks, inflatables, games, and entertainment from 11 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The ducks race at 2:30 p.m.

Adopt Your Ducks

Adopt a Duck. Help a Child.

Adopt one or adopt a lot. Every duck makes a difference. Adopt a single duck for $10, purchase a quack pack of six ducks for $50, or take advantage of our best value and purchase a grand quacker pack of 25 ducks for $150. Add in some friendly competition and create a team to compete for the most duck adoptions. If you have a group interested in creating a team, contact Kendall Sims, director of development.
