Each year, Boys and Girls Clubs of Lanier proudly hosts the Youth of the Year Celebration, our premier recognition event honoring outstanding teens who demonstrate leadership, academic excellence, service, and strong character. These exceptional youth represent the very best of our Clubs and serve as powerful examples of what is possible with the right support and opportunity.
Locally, this celebration shines a spotlight on our most driven Club members as they share their stories and step into leadership roles that inspire both their peers and the community. Nationally, Youth of the Year is Boys and Girls Clubs of America’s highest honor, propelling young people into regional and state competitions and offering a platform to be recognized on a national stage.

About the Youth of the Year Celebration: Ignite the Future
The 2025 Youth of the Year Gala will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the Ramsey Conference Center at Lanier Technical College in Gainesville, Georgia. This special evening honors our Lanier youth who demonstrate exceptional leadership, unwavering resilience, and a deep commitment to making a positive impact. These inspiring qualities open doors to regional, state, and national opportunities through the Youth of the Year competition. Doors will open to our esteemed guests at 5:30 PM. We sincerely thank you for your support and enthusiasm, and we look forward to celebrating these remarkable young leaders with you.
