Summer is better at the Club! Boys & Girls Clubs of Lanier offers a full-day summer camp program for kids and teens, ages 6 to 18, running from the end of May through mid-July. Summer activities include arts and crafts, computer enrichment, sports and recreation and academic activities to combat summer learning loss. In addition, members have the opportunity to participate in weekly field trips to expand their exposure to the world around them.
Summer camp is offered at five of our Clubs Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. with options for early drop-off and pick-up.
The summer program is $180 for the first child and an additional $60 for each sibling. The fee includes breakfast and lunch, program activities, supplies and staffing. Additional fees may be required for some field trips. Extended care is an additional fee.
The program is free for current 21st Century Community Learning Center members, Melrose Club members and middle and high school students.
Registration for the 2019 summer program will open in the spring of 2019. Check back for additional information.
“As a working mother, I struggled to find summer child care that was safe and affordable for my kids. Thank goodness for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lanier. My kids have attended summer camp for three summers and things have never been better. I know my kids are safe while I am work, and they are engaged in programming that keeps their minds active all summer so they don’t fall victim to summer learning loss. And, we get all this at a fraction of the price of other local summer camps.”
